Highland PTO
The Highland PTO was started in the Fall of 2022. Previously Highland had a Site Council which was comprised of elected parent volunteers, Highland teachers, and Highland administration. The district has been encouraging buildings to move from a Site Council to a PTO. So starting the '22-'23 school year, Highland is making the switch!
This will allow more parents and gaurdians to be involved! See our Committees or Events pages for ways you can help!
PTO Vision: The primary vision of the Highland PTO is to involve families and community members to enhance the students' education. The Highland PTO will serve as a communication liaison between the school and the family/guardian community and will serve as a fundraising organization to the school.
PTO Mission: The Highland PTO's mission is to facilitate the betterment of Highland families, staff and students by
• Creating an open, welcoming and supportive learning environment,
• Fostering pride in the school,
• Developing and strengthening the community of advocates, and
• Offering talent and financial assistance.
